Here is a little life-hack. When I make lentil soup I try to pack up 2 to 3 jars for the future. I mix pasta, lentils, salts and spices in a jar and make ready to go soup kits. All you need to do after is to boil those in water with your choice of protein or vegetables.
I know that it is not a super summer recipe, but sometimes on the rainy day you want something cozy like a soup. I usually make my lentils with carots onions and broccolli.
The trick is boil carrots and onions together with the lentils and then add brokkoli at the end so it keeps its texture.
What are your time savers in the kitchen?
